Frequently Asked Questions

No question is ever too ridiculous to ask! Hopefully, I can answer your questions here. If you don't see an answer, feel free to reach out to me via the Contact tab.

-How many photos will I receive and how long will it take to receive them?

I don't make any guarantee on the number of photos you'll receive ONLY BECAUSE I don't like to limit myself or limit what you'll receive. I have a constant habit of checking my photos while I work so I'll know if I need to take more or retake a shot. But I promise, I'll take as many photos as possible and will send you all that I deem worthy

.

For turn around time, I'll be honest, it all depends on how busy I am. I take in freelance work on top of other photography jobs I have. However! If I feel processing your images would take longer than a week, I will let you know.

-How long do you keep my photos?

Barring any catastrophic failures or events, I'll have your photos forever. I've built an extensive archive system of which I store all my files (your photos included.) I have several back-ups for my system and I update it monthly.

-How far are you willing to travel?

Anywhere, anytime. In the Prices tab

-Do you do *this* kind of photography?

Short answer? Yes. Long answer? YES. I know I've said this multiple times but If It involves working with a camera, I'm interested. Though, I will be honest with you if the shot you're looking for is a bit out of my expertise but that means I will either learn what I need to to produce your photo or help you find someone who can create your photo.

-What edits do you do?

I pay close attention to the small details so I do all sorts of edits. From basic lighting and color adjustment to advanced photoshop techniques like object manipulation and blemish removal. Click the Photoshop Showcase button to the right of this text to see BEFORE and AFTER examples of my editing.

-Do you shoot or edit videos?

Professionally, I prefer to stick with photography. Think of me as a last resort videographer; Someone who you can call on at the last minute and he'll do everything he can to help. I've created video pieces in the past so my videography work will be good but not as good as someone who specializes in videography.

-Can you remove the watermark on the photos you provide?

No. I aim to keep my watermarks as non-intrusive as possible but my watermark is how I can claim the photos as my work and I take great pride in my work.

-Can I post the photos you provide?

Of course! I would ask that you tag me in your posts so I can see the responses and feedback. My handle is the same for Facebook and Instagram. (@timthephotosmith)
